World of Tanks SU-152 - 6 Kills 5,4K Damage

The SU-152 is a Soviet tier 7 tank destroyer.

Development of a tank destroyer on the basis of the KV-1S heavy tank began on January 4, 1943. The vehicle received the designation KV-14 (Object 236). A prototype underwent field trials at the beginning of February 1943 and entered service on February 14, 1943. In April, the KV-14 was renamed SU-152. By December 1943, 670 vehicles were manufactured. Thanks to its ability to successfully combat german Tiger I and Panther tanks, the SU-152 was dubbed "Hunter" by the troops.

While having a very powerful gun and based on the KV-1S chassis, the SU-152 has relatively weak armor for a tank destroyer. On top of that, it has low speed and maneuverability. Most tanks you face will have no problems piercing the frontal armor, so it is best to use the low profile of this tank and remain at range to make yourself a much smaller target.

The SU-152 initially mounts a 152mm gun. This gun should use mostly HE rounds since its AP rounds can't penetrate most heavy tanks' frontal armor or snipe weak spots with its poor accuracy. For sniping, use the upgraded 122mm series gun. The upgraded 122mm gun has decent penetration for its tier, good damage and very high rate of fire for such a large weapon. Beware, the tank doesn't carry much ammo, so for trigger happy folks, consider yourselves warned. However, some people prefer to play with the stock 152mm which can hurt any tank you face and has the advantage of increased module damage, like destroying tracks of enemy tanks you hit, immobilizing them while you reload.

The SU-152 leads to the ISU-152.

World of Tanks Kranvagn - 7 Kills 10,9K Damage

The Kranvagn is a Swedish tier 10 heavy tank.

A project for a new vehicle for the Swedish army that started in 1949. For confidentiality purposes, the vehicle was given an unusual name, KRV, which stands for self-propelled crane (in Swedish). The project was based on the French AMX 50. A lightweight chassis was built and tested; in addition, a dummy with a turret was produced. A prototype was never built.

The final advancement of the Swedish turreted tank line. Shared with its predecessors; thanks to the size, weight and power to weight ratio, it's considered by many to be more of a medium tank rather than a heavy tank. The aforementioned size together with a tough frontal turret and a solid gun depression plus a decent mobility means that the Kranvagn can be extremely effective in a hulldown spot. However, be careful about your position. Exposing your hull will almost always result in a penetration, since it isn't as reliable as the turret front. Also mind that, when gun depression is used, the turret rear and commander's hatch is exposed which is a weak spot. You can counter this by pointing the gun upwards.

The Kranvagn marks the end of its Swedish heavy line.

World of Tanks IS - 5 Kills 6,2K Damage

The IS is a Soviet tier 7 heavy tank.

The IS-1 (IS-85) heavy tank was a thorough modernization of the KV-1. The tank featured the 85-mm D-5T gun. The IS-1 entered mass production in October 1943, but work was discontinued at the beginning of 1944, as the IS-2 (IS-122) tank entered mass production in December 1943. A total of 107 vehicles were manufactured.

It is the first of the Iosef Stalin class tanks available to the player. The IS represents both the IS-1 and the early model IS-2. The IS can be researched from the KV-85 or from the KV-13, which is sometimes is used as an easy grind bridge. The stock tank is the IS-1, equipped with the 85mm gun also available on the KV-85. The IS is a continuation of the KV-85 and will thus feel very similar in terms of agility and speed. When equipped with a 122mm gun, it technically becomes an IS-2, which will feel much more potent when engaging other heavies. Like most Soviet heavy tanks, the IS fares much better engaging enemies at close range where the IS can hug cover and back off when it is reloading. Thus, the IS is better for maps such as Himmelsdorf where there are mostly close-quarters fighting and no big open areas. The frontal armor on the IS is decent enough to bounce a lot of shots from lower tiers and is surprisingly bouncy even towards other tier 7 tanks and higher tier tanks if you angle the tank properly. Play this tank smartly, hit your enemy, pull back to reload and hit your enemy again. You will find yourself doing massive amounts of damage to the enemy and if you play this tank properly, you can really help your team a lot.

World of Tanks Pz.Kpfw. V/IV - 8 Kills 3,3K Damage

The Pz.Kpfw. V/IV is a German tier 5 premium medium tank.

This vehicle was produced by the Maintenance and Recovery Company of the 653rd Heavy Panzerjäger Battalion on the basis of the Bergepanther ARV and the Pz. IV turret.

It was granted as a gift to those that were of service to WG early in WoT's development and is rather rare in battle. It's based on a Pz.Kpfw. V Panther hull with turret from the Pz. IV Ausf. H. Many players think it's similar to a buffed Pz.Kpfw. III/IV. It has great mobility, decent acceleration and is well armored for its tier. Its weakness, however, is that it has very little turret armor, so a single well-placed howitzer or artillery shell will cause major damage. As a result, it's best to fully utilize the good gun handling to minimize exposure. Additionally, the penetration is nothing spectacular for its tier, so it's more effective to flank and target the enemy's rear and side, or to aim for weakspots.
